Impossible Human Evolution
Ecclesiastes 3:21
“Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?”
The Bible makes it very clear that human beings did not evolve. It relates that humans were a separate creation from animals and that we are all descended from the original man, Adam. For this biblical reason, we do not accept the idea of the evolution of humans.
It is no surprise, therefore, that when we examine actual science (rather than the myths spun by so-called evolutionary scientists), we find that it is consistent with this biblical starting point.
For evolutionists, the date of the earliest humans keeps being pushed back into deep time. When I was at high school, I was taught that humans first appeared about 1 million years ago. Most modern textbooks now suggest at least three times that age, with a possible date of 3 – 6 million years ago. But how likely is this?
Modern evolutionists suggest that there is a “bedding-in” period for any single-point change to become fixed or established. We do not accept that even one piece of new genetic information is possible, but even if it were, the waiting time for 1,000 nucleotide changes would be about 6 million years. The waiting time for the establishment of even the nucleotide differences between humans and chimpanzees – sometimes alleged to be only 1% of our DNA – would take much longer than 6 million years, which is the maximum suggested age for human evolution.
From whatever angle we try to view human evolution, we find that it is scientifically as well as biblically impossible. Author: Paul F. Taylor
