Besides evolution, another good example of agenda-driven science in our day is supposedly man-caused global warming – now called the more inarguable term “climate change”. Climate change “alarmists” have succeeded in stifling debate and getting government regulations, funding for grants and research, education/academia and “official” science on their side.
Here we also see the data tampering, cherry-picking, and one-sided interpretation of findings which we have seen with evolution – in order to advance a particular hypothesis. Not only have we seen the discrediting and bias of the climate study centers and scientists caught up in the email revelations of 2009, but we’ve seen the whole-hearted acceptance of such discredited data by the United Nations and government institutions worldwide.
Data skewing and tampering by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the data relied upon and published by NASA, has also been exposed. Of the 1,218 United States Historical Climatology Network (USHCN) stations in their network which report temperature every month, a certain percentage fail to report their monthly data. From 1970 to 2018, the percentage of missing data has risen from 10% to 50%! The missing data is “adjusted” with computer models. These models are programmed to tell us that as man-produced emissions of CO2 rise, so will global warming.
Rather than correct the NOAA computer models to reflect a scenario that is turning out not to fit reality, they’ve decided it is more advantageous to their agenda to keep the models and adjust reality to match the increasingly tenuous global warming theory! The “adjusted” data, therefore, shows global warming that does not actually exist.
In this case, the “agenda” for driving a pseudo-science appears to be wealth redistribution. Money flows from wealthy developed countries that are penalized for using fossil fuels, to undeveloped countries that will supposedly be unable to cope with the presumed consequences of global warming. In addition to wealth redistribution, we see in climate-change alarmism an agenda for big government control and globalism. These are all Marxist goals, with their underlying totalitarian and God-denying objectives.
