Dear Friend of Creation,
“Science as an institution is not about truth, but about power.”
This was stated and thus admitted by leading futurist and prognosticator, Y.N. Harari, at the World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting in Davos, Switzerland, in January 2026.
Harari’s books have sold 50 million copies in 65 languages and are highly recommended by the elite and powerful all over the world! He is a historian who dives deep into evolution to begin his thinking and influences many like-minded elite humanist “thinkers and shakers” of today. The books include Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind (2014) and Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow (2016). “Homo sapiens” is, of course, the evolutionary science classification for “humans”, supposedly evolving after other “hominid” classifications such as Homo habilis, Homo erectus, and Homo neanderthalenthis (Neanderthal Man).
Harari’s book title “Homo Deus” is, of course, a play on the same scientific naming system, with “Homo Deus” provocatively meaning “man-god” in Latin. This is supposedly what mankind will now evolve into with the technological manipulations that those at the World Economic Forum and others have in mind. This is where Harari sees the connection to AI and “transhumanism”, where AI is merged with human capacity, control of information, and even embedded in biology.
The fact is that in the plans and worldview of many of the globalist elite are the assumptions of God-less evolution – billions of years to evolve stone-age “ape-men” from micro-organisms into Homo sapiens. Homo sapiens (people) thus become simply “dominant animals” who both create and wreck things on planet earth in supposedly a very short time compared to the “deep time” assumed for evolution. But we “dominant animals” can now greatly accelerate evolution through “better” manipulation of psycho-social and biological structures; enhancing our own evolution to become more and more like little “gods” ourselves – the old promise of the Serpent in the Garden of Eden.
In previous speeches and interviews Harari has said, “Science is replacing evolution-by-natural selection with evolution-by-intelligent design.”(1) Clarifying, “This is not the intelligence of some god above the clouds but OUR intelligent design and the intelligent design of OUR ‘clouds’ – the IBM cloud, the Microsoft cloud – these are the new driving force for evolution.” In his worldview, there is no God, and no Creator transcends natural processes and materials. He has said, “The whole idea that humans have this soul or spirit, and free will, and nobody knows what’s happening inside me and what I will do in an election or in the supermarket – this whole idea is OVER.”(2) And he has the ear and the admiration of so many “elites” of the world today, including Bill Gates, Barack Obama, and Mark Zuckerberg.
Harari frames the coming power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to control humanity, by saying: "To dominate humanity on a massive scale, all you need is a coordinated cabal of elites feeding the world the same made-up stories — total fictions designed for control."(3) A nuanced evolutionary worldview is thus emerging, one which arguably leads to the fulfillment of Bible prophecies for the end-times concerning one-world government, one-world religion, deception and illusions, and images of “beasts” which come to life (Revelation 13:7-15).
Control is the thing that is desired and necessary for wielding power. And it is ever more able to be exercised for surveillance, brainwashing, and other totalitarian motives with the advent and progress of AI.
But the Bible makes it clear that God knows about this kind of rebellious plotting and assertion of human ego. For example, “Why do the heathen (the nations) rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, ‘Let us break their bands (our connections to God and Christ) asunder, and cast away their cords from us” (Psalm 2:1-3). The Lord, of course, gets the last laugh. “He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision” (Psalm 2:4).
No wonder the angel at the end of the age in Revelation 14:6-7 “having the everlasting gospel to preach…” says… “to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people” … “worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.” The angel is driving home the point that, together with the redeeming death and resurrection and coming kingdom of Jesus Christ, is the foundational fact that the supernatural creation of all things was by the living Word of God! Creation is foundational to everything else!
Our salvation is shaped by our understanding of origins. People like Harari are betting it all on a false gospel – a gospel that is not “everlasting” and a god that exists only in their minds and in their mirrors. In the end, the Lord defeats the global collective of humanist pride and false religion, and its leader, Satan. In the end, we all have the opportunity to be filled to overflowing with the infinite love of our One, true, infinite God!
God made us in His image for, among other things, freedom! This flies in the face of what the devil stands for, which is domination, manipulation, and control. And it flies in the face of any totalitarian control system. Salvation through Jesus Christ is an offer of freedom which is freely given to those who are free to accept or reject it. Freedom permeates the Christian message through and through! It is a foundational principle of His church – a church which “the gates of hell shall not prevail against” (Matthew 16:18).
Evolutionism has captured the minds of many, and its proponents are powerful and numerous. But the truth of God satisfies spirit, mind, and body! His Word is “living and powerful and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” When we proclaim His truth online or on the radio, we proclaim something more powerful than anything made by man. And we are called to bring this message of the truth of God to all peoples of the planet. Would you help us by praying and giving towards your ministry?
